Location and arrival

An extensive rail network connects South Tyrol with the rest of Europe – train journeys are environmentally friendly, relaxed and usually also inexpensive. Numerous direct connections take you directly from Munich and Innsbruck to Franzensfeste. There you have to change to the local train line to Pustertal, which takes you directly to Bruneck. From Bruneck station, which is about 21 km away from us, you can take the bus. The nearest bus stop is “Moarhöfe”, from here it is only a 2-minute walk.

The fastest way to our Hog in Mühlwald is via the Brenner motorway A22, exit Brixen into the Pustertal valley. There you follow the Pustertal state road and in Bruneck take the entrance to the Tauferer Ahrntal valley. Follow the main road to Mühlen in Taufers. After Mühlen in Taufers, a few metres before the Taufer parish church, take the turnoff to the left into the Mühlwaldertal.

You have the option of using a shuttle service that takes you directly to the accommodation. Perfect for train and long-distance bus travellers.
